  1.      Please read the Install.htm file before installing and 
  2.      follow the directions carefully. This Setup program 
  3.      will walk you through installation. You will need to use the 
  4.     Start Test feature of WinSafe98 if another program installs 
  5.     any Hidden or Read Only Files in the future.
  6.  
  7.      If a Msdos window stays open during the test or setup 
  8.      please close it and continue. Watch the task bar for Msdos
  9.     Windows

  12.     WAIT TIME is a device that allows you to control the amount 
  13.     of time that Winsafe starts after boot up of Windows. This is
  14.     needed in order for WinSafe to check the Registry backup size.
  15.     Other programs may be using the Registry at bootup and do not
  16.     allow you to control when they boot. Since WinSafe monitors the
  17.     Registry you want WinSafe to check the backup copy and the 
  18.     Registry after all other programs are finished with it.
  19.  
  20.     WinSafe98 cannot read files that are in use. If you receive an 
  21.     error notice during startup (bootup) after installing new programs
  22.     or after setting up WinSafe98, you may need to allow WinSafe98 to
  23.     adjust the wait time. If the File is not the Registry You will 
  24.     need to adjust the Wait yourself.

  26.     WinSafe will automatically adjust the wait time. This process 
  27.     can take up to as many as 10 reboots to Windows to set correctly.

  29.     If you have IE.40 installed on your system you can set the Wait
  30.     Time to 30 to start off This will hasten the process. If you do not
  31.     have IE.40 but do have a zip drive that is not always connected
  32.     set the Wait Time to 20 to start off
  33.     
  34.     If Winsafe cannot adjust the wait time WinSafe will then tell you 
  35.     to look for other problems.
  36.      
  37.     A value of less then 5 may cause WinSafe98 not to be able to read 
  38.     the Registry. You will get a message box at EVERY bootup that the 
  39.     Registry has changed. Click on Check Registry Size.
  40.     If you get a message box that an error has occured then the Wait 
  41.     Time is to low and Winsafe will adjust it on the next boot up.

  43.     Increasing the number will cause a longer wait time and decreasing 
  44.     it will shorten wait time. WinSafe98 must wait till the Registry is 
  45.     loaded and all programs 
  46.     (ie: virus scanners) have started booting into Windows.
